PTFA News May 2019

The PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) is a friendly group of people who want to support the school by providing "extras", mainly through fundraising activities.  All parents/carers are are very welcome to come and join us - we are always keen to hear new ideas for fundraising.  Meetings are informal and everyone is welcome - it's a great way to meet other parents while doing something that really benefits all of our children.

In a time when school budgets continue to shrink, the work of the PTFA is more important than ever.  Recently we have been able to fund coaches for class trips keeping the cost lower for parents,  books for the library, a high quality camera for whole school use and many little things that make life easier and more fun for everyone at school.

If you'd like to join us (there is no need to attend every meeting - we know that everyone has busy lives) please leave a message in the office and we promise to get back to you. If you can't come along to meetings but might be able to help at events, please let us know.  We really are a friendly bunch!
